Alloy X-750 (UNS N07750) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-iron-base superalloy that is primarily age-strengthened through the formation of a γ′ [Ni₃(Al,Ti,Nb)] phase by additions of aluminum, titanium, and niobium. It exhibits excellent high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance, while also providing good low-temperature toughness.
Common trade names include Inconel® X-750, Haynes® X-750, Pyromet® X750, and Nickelvac® X750.
· High Strength & Temperature Resistance: Maintains high strength up to 1300°F (704°C); oxidation resistance up to 1800°F (982°C).
· Stress-Relaxation Resistance: Excellent relaxation resistance, ideal for high-temperature springs and bolts.
· Cryogenic Toughness: Exhibits excellent properties and ductility at cryogenic temperatures.
· Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to corrosion in various environments.

Heat Treatment
Sheet and Strip (per AMS 5598)
Typical precipitation hardening treatment: 1350°F (730°C) / 8 hours, furnace cool to 1150°F (620°C) / 10 hours, then air cool. This treatment promotes high strength for applications at temperatures up to about 700°C (1300°F).
